A Big Thankyou to Dawson Park Primary School

We would like to dedicate this post specifically to students from Dawson Park Primary School for their generous contribution to Foothills Mental Health & Wellbeing this year, 2022!

We received a surprise phone call earlier in the year from one of their students who expressed their desire to give back to the community by honouring the service we provide by doing a bake sale fundraiser event and donating all profits made to us. This was such a welcomed phone call as it was the first time, we have ever experienced anything of such a kind nature. I was so delighted and deeply touched by the generosity and compassion demonstrated in their gesture. I shared this experience with staff and associates who felt uplifted and expressed their sense of being encouraged. We are tremendously grateful and humbled by their efforts! THANK YOU! We endeavour to use the donations by giving back to the people who participate in the service we provide by investing in resources to enrich therapeutic sessions.
