What if I’m not okay? – Breaking down barriers and making connections
What barriers do you experience in getting assistance? Make a connection with us today!

While you are enjoying the many free activities offered today in celebration of Mental Health Week and our 10th Birthday, we invite you to approach our team members for an info chat.
We have our Practice Manager, AJ, and admin support staff, Mike and Kieya. We also have Psychologists Theresa and JE, and our Consumer Consultant, Lyn, available. You can identify us through our event T-shirts with our various titles printed on the back.
A Consumer Consultant is a former client of mental health services who has rebuilt their life following distress – some people call this a “recovery journey”.
The purpose of an ‘Info chat’ is to provide an opportunity for people to find out about how to access support during times of distress, how various services operate, to chat about rebuilding one’s life following mental distress, to learn more about the consumer movement within mental health, to ask questions about costs and types of funding support available, and to demystify professional help. It also provides a unique opportunity to meet the Foothills Mental Health and Wellbeing team.
If you prefer not to speak to a team member today, you are welcome to take a card or brochure and contact us on another day.
During an ‘Info chat’ we simply offer an informal chat about the above. To access therapy, you will need to make an appointment for a session. Any other needs you might have, we will direct you towards that pathway.
